Bunny Burrows is a white queer femme artist based in Nyack, NY, whose work honors the magic of the mundane through intricate mark-making and figurative work on paper and canvas.

Through contemplative painting and illustration on paper and canvas, her work hums with the tension between the cosmic and the cellular; the sacred and the sweaty. Bunny is influenced by ecofeminism and the radical act of paying attention. Her paintings are part prayer, part protest, and 100% proof that magic is real (and probably covered in dirt).

Her paintings are both devotion and defiance—a celebration of all that is overlooked, uncontainable, and unapologetically alive.

devotion and defiance

Influenced by queer femme aesthetics and intersectional movements for justice, her paintings celebrate the divinity of all bodies—human, flora, and fauna alike.
